A delegation coming from the Department of Renewable Energy Technology of Institute of Electrical Engineering (IEE), Chinese Academic of Scienece (CAS) visited five European Photovoltaic Generation (PV) institutes, from March 21 to 31, 2010.
The delegation of IEE visited SIEMENS Ltd.(in Germany), VDE-Prufstelle Testing and Certification Institute (in Germany), Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT, in Austria), National Renewable Energy Centre (CENER, in Spain ) and Public University of Navarre (in Spain).
The delegation discussed PV technology with the foreign experts. The topics are how to construct an advanced experimental platform for PV module, inverter, controller, PV system and other PV products, and how to detect the PV products accurately.

The visiting main purpose is to learn development on PV field, research and development on equipment, testing technology, certification standards, operation mode and management experience of Europe. Then, IEE can better construct the testing laboratory in Baoding city.
