Flavia Schlegel, the natural sciences assistant director-general of the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) gave a visit to the Institute of Electrical Engineering of Chinese Academy of Sciences (IEE CAS) on September 27, 2017. Yaohua Li, the director of the IEE, gave a warm reception, and the two sides exchanged and discussed friendly. 
During the meeting, the director of the IEE briefly introduced the basic situation and historical evolution of the institute, as well as the research work of seven laboratories, which highlights the important contribution made by the IEE in the energy and electrical fields of China. At last, the delegation, accompanied by Li Han, the deputy director of IEE, viewed the Solar Cell Technology Laboratory and the Yanqing Solar Thermal Power Plant. |
