 As one of the first approved academic degrees awarding organizations, IEE has the qualification to recruit and cultivate students for Master and Ph.D. degrees in the first-level discipline “electrical engineering”. The second-level disciplines include Theory of Electrical Engineering and New Technology, Electrical Machine and Apparatus, High Voltage and Insulation Technology, Power Electronics and Electric Drive, Power System and Its Automation, Bioelectrical Engineering, and Micro-nano Electrical Engineering and Technology. A postdoctoral research station is established in the first-level discipline “electrical engineering” with the approval by the national ministry of personnel. During the past 20 years, several hundred graduates have been awarded Ph.D. or Master degrees by promotion in IEE. |
