International Lecture Notice: Neutron Scattering Investigation and Static High Magnetic Field [September 25, 2018]

TITLE: Research progress and application of drive motor integrated system for electric vehicle

DATE: 9.30am, September 25, 2018.

ADDRESS: The 705 meeting room of Building 1

SPEAKER:  Prof. Andrea Tonoli

Prof. Andrea Tonoli received the Ph.D. degree in machine design from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Politecnico di Torino, Turin, Italy, in 1993. He joined the faculty of Politecnico di Torino in 1994, where he is now an Associate Professor in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department. He served as Director of the Mechatronics Laboratory of Politecnico di Torino from 2007 to 2011. His research and teaching interests focus on the analysis, design and control of electromechanical systems with an emphasis on: rotating machinery; active and passive magnetic bearings and dampers, piezoelectric transducers for vibration and motion control, tilting vehicle dynamics, electromechanical systems for automotive applications.
